iScan Exist addressed both the physical and psychological environment. These factors are what most companies have in place as these are tangible measurement. There is however, an intangible component. Think about the iceberg analogy. There is the section that is visible above the waterline and then there’s the biggest piece of the iceberg below the waterline, that which cannot be seen and which poses the greatest threat, i.e. the underlying team dynamic.
Team dynamics are the unconscious, psychological forces created by the combination of personalities within a team. They manifest in how people interact including communication style, decision-making, the level (or lack) of trust and ultimately how effective they are at problem-solving.
