Who are we?

Access to early childhood development (ECD) education in marginalized communities is one of the most fundamental challenges facing South Africa’s development. Our inequality crisis is prolonged by the lack of education - particularly quality ECD education - in low-income communities. It has been proven that children who are well educated and stimulated between 0 and 5 years old have a higher change of being successful in life, socially, emotionally and financially. GROW with Educare Centres (a non-profit organisation) provides women living in low-income communities the opportunity to run excellent, private, fee-paying early learning centres that are also viable businesses using the principles of social enterprise and micro franchising.We achieve this by implementing a simple, replicable business model using an 'Education in a Box’ and ‘Business in a Box’ solution.
