Organization Overview
NuBreed is a non profit orgnisation, registered with the Department of Social Development with and hold a BPO status that allows us to issue section 18A certificates for donations reseived. This allows donars to claim donations back as a tax benefit.
The organisation was founded by Lebogang Mashigo, an ACTIVATOR, who grew up in the dusty streets of Vlaklaagte 1, KwaNdebele.
NuBreed Music Institute was then registered in December 2013 and opened for the first lesson in 2014. Originally the project was only directed at music training but has since grown to focus on various other projects aimed at the development of the youth in our community.

NuBreed is the brainchild of a young and vibrant Ms Lebogang Mashigo.
She is very passionate about the vision that gave birth and the rise to NuBreed. She was raised in the dusty streets of Vlaklaagte #1 in the former homeland of KwaNdebele.
Growing up she knew she was placed on earth for a unique purpose, living life with a vision-centered attitude. After completing a year at a performing arts company, Lebogang developed a desire to reach out to the youth through the arts.
And after studying the needs of the community she then realized that there was ability and potential in young people that needed to be enhanced and unleashed. That desire gave birth to the NuBreed.
She believes in the power of music to communicate, change and unite the world. Since most young people can express themselves through music, it made perfect sense to create a platform for young people to learn and practice music.
And today she lives to see the NuBreed dream come alive. The young people that walk through the doors keep the HOPE of VISIONNuBreed alive.
