My name is Wilhelmena Mathabatha. I am a Reading Coach at Waterworks Primary School in Riverton, Northern Cape.
I have been with the Droogfontien Solar literacy programme since 2014.
I enjoy making a difference in people's lives!
As a Reading Coach I assist learners with reading disabilities at our school. I also assist the teachers with some administration work.
I enjoy reading and writting so I enjoy helping the kids who struggle with reading and writing.
I am so happy to be a part of the of the Spell It Reading coach team in the Northern Cape.
The Spell It Facilitators are very profesional and teach us many ways to teach children who are at different levels of literacy using fun activities and reading drills. The Spell It spelling resource kit is very useful and I even use it at our Reading Club at school
The Reading Club activities consist of reading for enjoyment, telling stories, games and songs as well as writting. The Learners are very happy with the progammes and have shown good improvement this year
