Event Information
- 10 Spelling Bee organisations from across the continent have joined together to establish the African Spelling Bee Consortium in order to host the 2nd Annual AFRICAN SPELLING BEE to be held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia in July 2017. Together the Spelling Bee organisations have run national competitions impacting well over 5 million young people. The competition will involve the Top 3 finalists from every country’s National Spelling Bee Competition. The grand prize of a fully paid under-graduate tuition scholarship to attend Monash South Africa has already been secured. All participants will received cash and other prizes.
